“The main lady who is the vet there is so knowledgeable and made me feel very comfortable notice things about my pet that I hadn't even noticed I highly suggest this place“
“Sage Pet Hospital is a great place! I took my cat there after my neighbor recommended them. They are very kind and understanding that not everyone can afford expensive care for their animals and they do not make you feel bad about it. If available they offer different price points for treatments. The staff is just fantastic and you and your animal feel very welcome the minute you walk in the door! I won't take my kitties anywhere else! Thank you Sage Pet Hospital and my kitty Big Head says thank you too!!“
“Best vet I've ever had. My 10 year old dog, Ziggy, had a bacterial infection on his leg for 5 months. He saw 3 other vets and was given tons of antibiotics and other meds to treat it (of course with side effects). I spent thousands on this issue with the other vets. In exasperation I drove from Asheville to Hendersonville to Dr. Howland. Dr. Howland asked if he could look at the bacteria under the microscope so we could treat the exact kind (what??why didn't the others do that?). He gave Ziggy a cream to treat it and it was gone in 2 weeks. The bill was $170. I literally was jaw dropped in the difference in care, price and customer service (the gals at the front desk are awesome too). Most vets have been bought out by private equity and run from corporate now - ie, have to give an expensive, elaborate "treatment plan" and charge at least $500 per visit but White Oak is a gem that still runs by knowledgeable skilled doctors and excellent staff.“
“We are incredibly grateful for Dr. Crouch & his team for the services they've provided us over the last couple of months. He was the only one able to assist us with our puppies leg injury, essentially saving the limb. It was amazing to witness her recovery, and it went exactly as everyone had hoped.
Dr. Crouch also tempered expectations on every possible scenario in which treatment might go. So we were prepared no matter how things went.
There's also a lot of knowledge to be gained from talking to Dr. Crouch be it about animals or life in general. A true master of his craft. We were blessed to have been referred to him, and greatly appreciate this entire staff @ Western Carolina Veterinary Surgery. ?♥“
“Dr. Carmen is very intelligent, caring and professional. We would not consider another vet for our cat.“
“Treated like family!
Words cannot express the love and care we were shown in a most difficult situation. We were visiting the Asheville area with Farley (dog) and Sylvia (cat) in tow. Sylvia (age 16) became distressed and breathing labored. We needed a vet and quickly. I read a few reviews online and called WNC. They responded to our emergency and got us in quickly. It became obvious that Sylvia would not recover. They were so very kind and compassionate. They cried with us and loved on us. We were treated like family. We even received a condolence card in the mail with notes from all the folks we met there and an ink print of Sylvia's paw print. We will never forget the kindness shown. If I lived in Asheville, WNC would be our veterinarian!
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.“
“My Chihuahua, Winky needed extensive dental surgery requiring a bone graft, this had to be completed by a dental surgeon out of state. Dr.Weaver was supportive and helpful in getting this referral for me at this very busy dental surgeons office within a month. Dr.Weaver may have saved my dogs life as she prevented a very bad outcome had this surgery not been done. She also put up with my many question's and consternation about this procedure.
I think the biggest support was her gift of listening.
Dr.Weaver has done the follow up exam and will continue to follow my dog, who is doing wonderfully.
Dr.Weaver is an excellent and caring Veterinarian. I cannot say enough about the expertise and caring that she and the wonderful staff have provided. I am in awe I found her and the wonderful folks in the office to provide such quality and care.“
“Truth, compassion, amiable and I was given choices. The care and concern that I and my Kitten received was what I expect. Not everyone has unlimited funds to care for their animal. It's nice to work with a group who understands. Great Job!“
“I moved away 5.5 years ago. I walked back into Pinnacle today and it was as if I had never left. Dr. McMullan and team were kind, patient and made sure I understood everything going on with my aging babies.“
“1st visit. Mostly satisfied but had to remind the vet to check the cat's teeth which were found to have a lot of tartar. Doctor Stevenson said to stop using any canned cat food and that the dry cat food would clean the cat's teeth better. My little kitty weighed in at 18 lbs but has lost 1 pound since I adopted him.
I didn't think about it until I left but I didn't see the ears checked. Shouldn't have to ask for ears and teeth to be checked.
The staff is marvelous and carried my cat and carrier back out to the car for me. This will be my kitty's vet from now on.
My receipt is dated 1-5-18. Dr. Scott Stevenson DVM was the vet. If he never worked there then why is his (painted over)name on your billboard as well???“
“My YorkiePoo has been enjoying personalized attention for over twelve years. The premises are spotlessly maintained by Mary and Forrest, who are the owners.“
