Not sure who I spoke with I initially but if I had let my experience end with them I would still have a poor opinion. THANKFULLY it did not and I would like to thank the doctors involved in my experience here for their patience and care throughout my visit. Very thorough and caring.

I want to make it clear that the one star is not due to the staff they were great. The 1 Star is due to the fact that I was referred to Dr. Melissa Rich MD MPH. I have known Dr. Rich for many years and I am quite comfortable with her and know her to be quite a good Gastroenterologist. When I arrived and got checked in and undressed I find out I have been scheduled with Sarah McGill, MD, Msc. This is not who I was expecting and not who I was familiar with. Furthermore when she comes in to greet me and is made aware of the situation she proceeds to tell me how competent she is. Was dreading this experience, but the facility, process and everyone from check-in to nurses to anesthesiologist were fabulous - so nice, informative and competent. My UNC gastro doc - Dr. Tang, did the procedure, so didn't use any doc there. Check-in was about 2 minutes, called me back for medical info just a few minutes after my 2pm appt., then waited a bit for a bed to open up and they called me back for the rest. I'm a hard IV stick - so the first nurse said she would give it one try and if she didn't get it, would let someone else try. And that is exactly what happened - second one got it. They accommodated me when I asked for the freezing spray to try to help...read full review
