My little, ten pound maltipoo was having to get her anal sacs expressed about every 20 days, and they were leaking...NOT good! Dr Mac (MacDonald) explained to us how he could remove Chloe's anal sacs and so he did. It was, too me, a big surgery that required a lot of skill and experience. I am familiar with most vet issues but this was new to me. The surgery was a complete success! Chloe and we are very happy. The staff there is excellent; front desk and techs, esp. Sue. The service is prompt and everyone was very understanding about how worried we were over our little one. We are so happy that we had switched over to Hillsborough Vet Clinic! I have worked in this field and I highly recommend these people for your pet's care. Kathy
I cannot say enough good things about Hillsborough Vet Clinic. Dr. Martinez has taken beyond amazing care of my pets. She always lets me know all of my options and guides me through every step. Her knowledge, compassion (for the owners and pets), and trust worthiness are evident in every interaction. I have never had a bad experience here, all the staff are kind to me and my pups. I will be forever grateful for every single one of them!!
Have been coming to Hillsborough Veterinary Clinic for a long time, and with multiple dogs ~ Maggie, Buddy, Max, and now Louie. Excellent, no bs service, and the staff is welcoming and warm. Dr Mac has been my go-to vet, so can't speak for the others, but have been very happy with all my visits. I recently had to put down my elder dog, Buddy and even though I could not come in (Covid time), they asked me to send in a piece of my clothing and told me they would surround him with love. That was heartbreaking, but I trusted in their care and how they would make sure Buddy left peacefully. A few days later, I received a card from Dr Mac and the staff with best wishes, and also letting me know he left relaxed and peacefully, with my shirt near him. Tender loving care. That is how it feels here for me. My new pup, Louie will continue with them.
