Tree Service near Hickory

“I would give this man 10 stars if I could. I called him at 8:27 this morning (8/8/25) and left a message. I had a pretty good size dead tree that fell and was lodged In a Sycamore tree. It was leaning over my yard and could definitely be considered a widow maker. Sam called me back before 9:30. He was going to be on leaving Hickory for a job in Lincolnton and would try to come by on his way. I live in Vale. Sam called about an hour and a half later and said he would be here in 10 minutes. He was here exactly 10 minutes later. Sam looked at my tree and said he may be able to come back after he finished in Lincolnton. If not he would try for tomorrow. Sam went on his way. At 5:35 this evening Sam called back and said he would be here in 20 minutes. He was in my driveway in 20 minutes. He took down the dead tree and did his best to save the Sycamore tree that the dead one lodged in. This man did exactly what he said he would do. And his price was more than fair. I know this review got long and I normally don’t write reviews. But I think the world needs to know that today I met a man that is as good as his word. Sam is amazing.“

“David came out and gave a very competitive quote to remove 7 large stumps that were close to our foundation from overgrown shrubs. Came out and quoted as promised and said he would be here on a Saturday morning at 10 AM …and he arrived on time and completed the project very professionally. He really knows what he’s doing and takes great care at protecting your property …once he’s complete… He did a great job cleaning up everything. we will definitely use his company again and will recommend him without hesitation.“

“We were just amazed at how hard Shawn Wise and his team worked on the 6 trees we had to have removed. One was a large oak tree that was probably 100ft tall and right next to our house. The team surgically removed all the trees using a combination of a lift truck, dump trucks, bobcat, ropes and pulleys and lots of chain saws. They arrived on time and work hard all day and were courteous and respectful. The even did some extra work we asked at no extra charge. They cleaned up afterwards and left us with a big smile!“
