The moment I walked in to the office I was greeted by a friendly smile by Carol! The office is very aesthetic and clean. The hygienist that cleaned my teeth , Megan, was beyond excellent! She took care in checking my gum tissue for health and she was very gentle. Dr. Robbie was friendly and easy to talk to. He filled a tooth for me and I never felt a thing! I am so happy to make Lake Hickory Dental my new dental office. I would recommend it to everyone!

The staff in the office was always so sweet and kind over the phone, when I came in for my first visit I felt the same warmth and welcoming I had needed from a dentist's office. Dr McAllister understood the anxiety and had wonderful bedside manner as well. He also took the time to educate his patients on basic oral hygiene and is very needed amd appreciated. I didn't feel like I was just another patient, or another paycheck. They all had me feel like they cared about their work the outcome and if I was going to put in the effort for myself.

I’ve hated going to the dentist since I was a young kid. I started going to Dr. McAllister’s office in myearly/mid-30’s and have had nothing but positive experiences. Don’t get me wrong, he has had to fix some things that some previous Dentists did not do a stellar job on, but I’ve never had a painful experience and every single person who works at the office is just a joy. I have had two Dental Hygienists who have been both gentle with my cleanings (no traumatic gum prodding like I’ve had before) and have established rapport quickly just by being genuinely kind and engaging.
