Going to Milan is always like having a chat session with my girlfriends. Everyone there is so kind and accommodating. Also, IT WORKS! I've had laser hair removal treatments elsewhere and it never worked. At Milan, they customize the laser levels to your hair and skin type. I am so satisfied with my treatments. Kerry is amazing!! I cold-called the salon, and asked the sweet owner Taylor if they had a stylist on staff whose niche was blonde hair, and she recommended Kerry. I’m a dark blonde, and am very particular about the color as I like my highlights platinum. My hair is thin and challenging with color, so I am very detailed with stylists, yet still have been underwhelmed more often than not.
Kerry was very friendly, and made me feel comfortable right away. She’s outgoing, as am I, with a great sense of humor. Her work was meticulous, and the color is beyond perfect! It has literally been years since I’ve been this happy with my color and cut, and I’m from NYC, so the bar is set high. I cannot say enough about how amazing my experience was today!

I loved this place! I had an amazing experience with a lovely lovely lady who literally spent 6 hours on my hair knowing that it was going to be a challenge and sat through it the entire time with with the best attitude possible! Morgan is a super talented hair stylist!! The atmosphere was very welcoming, and so was she. She's very professional and friendly, and I instantly trusted her from the start. I came in with a butchered haircut, and she fixed it up perfectly. I was honestly really shocked lol. I always felt insecure with shorter hair, but not after today. She definitely brought back some of my confidence. I'm really impressed and super satisfied with Morgan's work. She was super kind and did her best with what she had to work with, and she was even able to squeeze me into her schedule at the last minute. She also wouldn't let me leave until she knew I was happy with it, and I really appreciated her efforts in making sure I was satisfied. I am 100% going back in the future!!♡
I was a walk-in today actually and was greeted by two lovely ladies who were very sweet. One owns it and the other should definitely work there but i believe was just a friend either way they both helped me and were very kind to me . I will be back next week and I would recommend them to anyone wanting to find a chill spot with good people to do a little shopping .

They always are so polite and fast to get your order. This one gets soo busy during the day hours well really all day but they handle the situation so very well and make sure everything g is 100%. I don't hardly ever have to worry about not having my condiments or extra napkins cause anything g you tell them at the front they take care of in the bag at the end. Having had many beard trims over the last several months from various places I decided to give the Viking Barber Shop a try even though they're close to an hour away from me. I was able to schedule a same day appointment and when I arrived, Shell, was very courteous and professional. She took her time and made sure that she understood exactly what I wanted with my beard. Once she started the trim, she was very engaging and genuine, a true hoot of a host. She often stopped to make sure that I was happy with the progress and when I suggested a slight change, she nodded and proceeded to take that direction perfectly well, again the whole time with sparkling wit and southern charm. At the end of the appointment, I was delighted to find that the charge was exceedingly reasonable. If you get a chance to get a beard trim here, I would highly recommend it!!! Every time My husband gets his haircut there it looks pretty good the last time they didn’t feed it on the side like he was wanting but it’s probably because he’s an older fellow and they didn’t think it look right on him, but he likes it with a teardrop in the back and the fade on the side and he likes the long waves on top

Truly the most incredible experience. Sabrina was sooo knowledgeable and talented. Every step was so professional and customized to fit me. I was given all instructions for after care to make it last and get the best outcome possible. I also was feeling little insecure with my body and she wiped that away very quickly. Sabrina is personable and you feel like you’ve known her for years. The tan it’s self is so good but still so natural. She took her time and was very attentive to the little details. No streaks no weird hands and ankles or bad smells and sticky feeling after. Just beautiful.

This was my first time getting a hydrodermabrasion facial at Arched and Polish. The service was pleasant and relaxing. I can tell June was very knowledgeable in performing the service. Before we began, she explained everything and all the steps throughly. She answered all my concern questions and told me what I should expect afterward. I showed her my trouble area and what I would like to happen, she helped me target those specific area. My skin can be sensitive to certain chemical, so I was really surprise when my face was barely pink after the facial was done. That night I followed through with the instructions she gave me and had no irritation except a slight burning sensation when I apply my moisturizer, which was expected from what June told me. The next day, my face looked brighter and felt smoother. I did not have any dry patches or sensitive area so that’s a plus for me. I’m loving the results so far so I plan to go back and keep this facial in my routine. I noticed that they offer other beauty services so I’m going to try them next time. Thanks to June, I will be going back.
I have been going to this nail salon for over a year and I enjoy my experience every time I go! It is always clean, the staff is friendly and welcoming, there are no harsh smells or loud tv/music. It is truly a relaxing experience!

My sister and I were a walk in for mani/pedis w/gel. Sara and Annie took care of us. They did a great job. It's been years since we received such great service. Had to leave lincolnton to get it. It's worth the drive to Hickory.
I decided to give Classic Nails a try and called ahead to see if they had any availability; I was told to come over and they’d take care of me. Immediately upon arrival you can tell Moon and her team take great pride in the business. There were many seats already full with ladies who were clearly repeat customers, but I was directed to a chair immediately to start my pedicure.
Mai took great care of me and did an amazing job on my SNS manicure. The color I wanted didn’t actually come in dipping powder, so she suggested clear powder with a top coat of colored gel and it turned out amazing. It’s 3 weeks later and my paint hasn’t chipped or cracked at all, even though I am far from gentle on them.
Amazing place and I’m now booking all my appointments here!
I called April late this afternoon and She welcomed me as a walk-in. I came in for a nail removal and as soon as I walked in, the vibe was inviting, very friendly and professional. April really made my experience, the best I've ever had with ANY nail tech. She made me feel comfortable, was very enjoyable to talk to and made me a future customer for sure! Everything was clean including the bathrooms. She keeps it very sanitary. I recommend this place 10/10. I feel like everyone in hickory is sleeping on this place.

Requested style: I was afraid they wouldn’t have magnetic cat eye polish for my desired look but they did and they did a great job.
Stylist: Lucy was a very nice woman. She did a great job with the shaping of my already short natural nails. I was impressed. I was way over due for a basic mani. She had her work cut out for her with my cuticles and over grown skin on my nail beds. Pricing was fair for a short natural look with no extensions. $45. I don’t know how they are able to keep such an up beat peppy atmosphere so early in the morning. I was still trying to wake up and refrain from yawning. I’ll be coming back.

Those old negative reviews should be removed from this site. There is a wonderful operator there now named Susie who is absolutely great. Walk ins are welcome so if you make an appointment, it’s not guaranteed that she can take you immediately. She has to take whoever got there first. She does a fantastic job and the price for a pedicure is reasonable and in line with other places.
Nail Studio is THE BEST nail salon in the area! I drive an hour once every three weeks because there is nobody I trust and love more than Millie and the rest of the nail techs here. They know you by name, they make appointments and are always on time to serve you. These girls are the bomb!

This is a great shop! The artists are all friendly and will do their best to please the customer. Maddie just finished her second piece on me and I absolutely LOVE it. She is a creative artist who will help you think outside the box (like cryptoids or UV ink!). Her fine line tattoos are so so good!!! And she’s the sweetest person. Go see this shop!

i had a great experience here!! i got my septum pierced here last week, it was my first piercing other than my earlobes and those were done at claires and were a disaster, i was really really nervous but my piercer was sooo sweet and it was over quickly and didn’t hurt super bad!! me and my mom came in as a walk in appointment, initially we forgot my birth certificate so we had to actually leave the shop and come back but we didn’t have to wait long at all and the piercing aftercare instructions they provided have been working like magic, i have had no issues with healing so far and overall it’s been a great experience. amazing price too, i’m planning to come back here to get a lip piercing once my septum heals!!
We had a leak from a clogged pipe in the ac unit.. Eneco sent Jake Fox within 15 minutes of our call! Jake was very friendly, professional and found the problem and resolved it quickly! Brian came out to install new water heater on one property and fix a shower issue on another property. He got there right at the time he said they would. He gave me a quote before beginning work and it was one of the better quotes I got! When I initially called, I was in an emergency situation. While he were unable to get to it that day, he got to me the next day. I had a great all-around experience with this company, and will be using him again for plumbing work!
After Roto-Rooter came out and did absolutely nothing about my clogged toilet, Cliff's Plumbing came out and had it fixed in 5 minutes! Friendly guys, fast response time, great quality of service!!

Did a pretty good job, but I would have been happier if they had gotten the corners of the tile in my bathroom cleaner. Guy said their equipment would not get into the corners. They may need to add a special piece of equipment for this purpose. It was good that they were able to do the job right then though. PS, left a small trail of water from the bathroom to the front door that I had to clean up. However, they have always done a great job on my area rugs!!

I was lucky enough to find Carmen’s Cleaning by chance using an online search. I took a chance and called and am so thankful I did. Santiago and all of the Carmen team have been absolutely wonderful! Highly professional, responsive, and they do a great job-always willing to go above and beyond. I have yet to meet the team but I have absolute trust that they are taking great care of my property and have yet to have any worries. Highly recommend!

We were referred to Top Gunn by All County Plumbing when we decided to redo two bathrooms. We met with Cinnamon there to decide on tile and discuss the entire process. She and the team were incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. They coordinated the entire process and we could not have been happier with the results. The on site workers were friendly and very courteous. Most importantly terrific craftsmen as the tile work turned out beautifully. Could not recommend Top Gunn more.

In 2021 we chose DDI for our dream home build after meeting with several contractors. They were prompt and very positive when we met. This was huge as it was during the COVID supply/inflation issues. Several contractors we had met with were hesitant during this time. Dustin's attitude was a breath of fresh air.
During the process, the team was very easy to work with, returned all calls/text within a timely manner, addressed any issues that arose, and delivered quality work.
Additionally, we enjoyed that they have an initial meeting to get a game plan. They give spreadsheets in advance with all the items you will need to pick so that you do not feel pressured when the time comes. Michelle is the sweetest soul. The DDI team are truly the best people, most kind and willing to help.

I got a telephone call from Joseph this morning letting me know he was going to be in the area of my mountain cabin ( second home) and he offered to go up to it and check to see if everything was okay and he would go ahead and treat my home while he was there. I explained that I live 2 1/2 hours away and had no way to know if it had survived the storm or not. He even offered to take photos of things that might not be okay. I have never experienced this kind of kindness from someone I have never met before . To know that there is someone who cares like this is absolutely wonderful and so affirming! If I could have given him a hug through the phone lines, I would have done it. A-1 is a wonderful company and I am so happy that they have not only my business, but my back as well!!!!

We were having some landscaping done at our house and I didn’t think that they were able to serve our house as normal. The landscapers were complaining about mosquitoes, which they never do. Mosquito Authority came out immediately to address our concern and make our landscaping crew comfortable.

The service was great! I wa given a tour of the building before any services were performed. I was well taken care of by everyone that I encountered. While checking out, I was given fresh baked cookies to top it all off. What a way to end a day at the dentist!?

Recently took my twins (7) to see Dr. Aiken. He was kind and gentle with them. The dental hygienists were amazing with them as well. Additionally, I am a patient here and have only positive things to say! Just wanted others out there to know, you don't have to see Pediatric Dentist, this practice has ALL the accommodations for children.

I went for a root canal with Dr. Sheffield and and had an amazing experience. I had previously had a traumatic dental experience with getting a root canal and was extremely stressed and anxious for this one. They assured me that it would be a breeze and that I could express any concerns if they came up. The process was super quick, about an hour, and so painless and easy! They totally helped me feel better about getting dental work done.
This was my dentist office for a few years until I moved to Winston-Salem. I always saw Dr Thomas I don't know where these negative reviews come from. When I went there my wait time was very short the staff was very friendly always greeting me with a smile. If I still lived in the area this would be the dental office I would still be going to

My husband was diagnosed of Parkinsons disease 2 years ago, when he was 49. He had a stooped posture, tremors, right arm does not move and also a pulsating feeling in his body. no pet parent wants to take their babies to a vet let’s be real. but if there’s one i’m going to go to for the rest of my life, it’s this one. my small 2y poodle dachshund had a small blockage in his bowels and no one i mean NO ONE would take him (yeah. imagine turning down an emergency gastro surgery… a life or death surgery) and one other vet that we were about to go to was charging us $5000 (with no payment plan options) simply because they knew no one else was taking in surgeries. It’s as if someone from above heard our prayers and the doctors here gave us a chance. Which I am BEYOND grateful for , I know that scheduling surgeries and handling animals is a lot of work which is why frankly a lot of clinics turned us down and I get that truly, I do. Most clinics book surgeries in the morning and this happened at 3:30pm.
Not only did they rush in Henry and take care of his surgery immediately, they also took care of an ear infection free of charge. And the surgery cost $1500 instead of the whopping $5000 quote that I got from a different vet.

Blue Skies Veterinary has knowledgeable, thoughtful, and compassionate staff. Dr Wuest is the Best Vet around. He is concerned for the pet and for you. At Blue Skies, your pet's examination and most treatments are performed in the same room. I really like and prefer this method. They will give you all the options for treatments / sometimes surgeries, but they do not pressure you. Blue Skies is definitely the Preferred Veterinary Hospital in Catawba and surrounding counties!

Easy to schedule, friendly staff, and provided quick diagnosis and treatment options. Even though visit was for a specific concern, the veterinarian did a thorough check up of my dog.
Just took my two dogs to Dr. Moe for their yearly checkup . Was a great experience. Definitely recommend. Everyone at the office was extremely friendly. Will be back!
We grew up and started our family in the area. I joined the military and we moved away for a few years and now we are back local. Our usual vet was Dr. Hill, the 1st one all the way through the younger one. We had good relationships with all of them and their employees. Upon returning, we weren’t welcomed kindly at all and decided things obviously have changed there and did not want to deal with that.
We searched and called this Vet. The staff on the phone was quick to get us an appointment which is really what we needed, quickness. The dogs needed to get a full check up with a new vet since moving.
When I arrived at the appointment the front desk staff was really just plain rude and unnecessarily short and left me guessing if I needed to sit down? Stay there? Answer questions? Where did I pay when I was done because no one said anything? etc.
The vet (Dr. Gruber) and our Vet Tech (Jessie) were great to work with. I really enjoyed them and I feel they were absolutely incredible with Max. I couldn’t be happier with that level of care. They really gave him a good once over which is what he needed.
Pricing was fair considering the amount of care Max needed. Time in and out was great, no wait (other than at the counter wondering what to do, where to go, and who to talk to).
I’m willing to put up with a little “uncalled-for sass”, if the vet is good with my dogs. I'll consider staying for now because of that. I hope they read this and make some changes with the people up front such as training, “encounter reviews” on the cameras, etc.

My cat had a hurt foot ,called around and was able to get him in same day at Bethlehem Vet Hospital. I am so glad I found them.The receptionist was so kind and helpful.The vet tech and Dr. where so sweet and kind and very professional.My cat who is a bit on the wild side let them take care of his paw and we walked out of there happy , without emptying my purse. So very happy .I would highly recommend them and I will be back for future services.

Knee Y is an excellent therapist and a true professional. He is currently assisting with my chronic neck pain issues. I am placing this review after my 3rd visit. Knee is timely, listens to and seeks to address your concerns. I highly recommend his trigger point therapy services.
Mark is amazing. I was nauseated from the amount of pain that I was experiencing. It was amazing to have a massage that literally relieved the pain. I really didn't have to tell him every area that was hurting because he understands the muscular and skeletal systems enough to know how it all is connected. He targeted areas that I didn't even know where affected.
Mary really was thoughtful and caring with my needs for back pain and sciatic nerve issues. She tried different methods and ideas with care and ease.

Best I've ever been to I was suffering from a pinch nerve in my neck that went down to my elbow After 4 days of no sleep I was very Irritable and In a lot of pain. I had taken pain killers. Muscle relaxers and even consumed alcohol to try to get rid of the pain so I could get some sleep. I even went to a Chiropractor and after 3 visits I still had no relief. The Chiropractor set me up for 8 visit he said it may take even longer to see resultsSomeone suggested therapeutic massage so that Sunday morning I got on yelp and found this place . I was truely lucky because everyone was book. This sweet angel heard the pain in my voice and squeezed me in. I got home and slept like a baby she did wonders I was even able to lift my arm. Needless to say she will have a customer for life. My brother is making an appointment in the morning
