I have been going to Mr Friendlys for a long time and decided to file on Turbo Tax worse mistake I ever made. I got myself audited but I am back home at Mr Friendlys and I will always file with Mr Friendlys

I don't leave many reviews for companies but this one felt needed. We called before coming in and explained we needed our taxes ammended and went over the issues. They said to come on in and they will have it done in 2 days. It was tax day and we understood they were busy. We went in and everyone seemed really nice and wonderful. The main tax woman looked through our paperwork and noticed previous mistakes. Which means she saw right there that our taxes would be extra work. She said she would have it done by wednesday. We get a call saying there's alot to it and it'd now be Tuesday morning that she would call us back and make appt to come in to go over it. We agreed. My husband took Tuesday morning off. We called the day before (Monday) to confirm with Ashley that we'd get a phone call Tuesday morning to come in and explained that my husband would be taking the morning off of work for it. Tuesday would be good for the appt which said replied, no problem. She interuppted my husband to say that she explained to me that the person handling our taxes was out until tuesday. Which first was irrelevant and she did not tell me that anyway. All she said was that she noticed there's alot to our taxes and she would be out for the weekend. Her tone wasnt nice when she interuppted him. We waited until about 12 which is now the afternoon to call the office. We had to call a few times then finally someone answered and said they were just getting in the office! That's way past the morning time. We ended up going to get our paperwork and they were pretty rude when we got there. The office looked closed during these business hours. We had to call to get someone to answer the door. When she got to the door with our paperwork she said that when we tried calling those few times that they weren't there, they were just getting in. If she saw us calling they were probably there. She also tried to turn it around on us saying she understands we're irritated about previous companies. No we just don't like the run around. Or to wait around for that nonsense. Regardless it's very unorganized and that was way past business hours and our promised call. They open at 9am. During our initial call we explained that we weren't in a rush but just communicate with us. They said they always do which is obviously false. Someone could have called us Tuesday morning and said they were running late. We are understanding that things happen but instead they knew we'd be waiting and that my husband took off work cause it was agreed on Tuesday morning. They completely changed they way they treated us from our first visit. They seemed great and we were hoping to have a new tax company to work with in the future. Unfortunately that will not be the case! The friendlyness disappeared after agreeing to take our taxes on. They're unorganized, they don't have great communication or customer service skills.
