“This review is way overdue. Hickory Grove Animal Hospital is where I've been taking my senior cat, Pudge since we moved to the area. I'm fortunate enough it's only about a 3-minute drive from where I live. The staff and doctors are so good to my Pudge. They do a fantastic job with everything. They're also great with the people. They discovered that Pudge had hyperthyroidism. She also needed her teeth cleaned and some pulled. Every interaction I had, which has been quite a few, has been a good one. All the staff and doctors are friendly and patient in answering any questions and concerns. They've been the best vet I've ever been to so far.“

“Taking from the front office till Doctor, all are very polite, kind and receiving. Dr Kira saw my Shih Tzu. She is very patient, listened to what we were saying, she is informative, explained clearly on whats happening and options we got. Dr her self called both times to share the blood work report and on Follow up test also. I wish we knew this facility before. I would recommend this facility for anyone who care their pet to be cared by a Vet and the staff just as the owner.“

“Dr. Speights is my cats vet. She has been for several years. Her main concern is the health and welfare of Scrawny cat at each visit. She cares enough also to make sure this crazy cat mom is understanding each step and each procedure. She takes time with Scrawny and doesn't rush through his exams. Dr. Speights is what a vet should be. Scrawny and I give 5 stars and more.“

They're commitment to research and problem-solving is amazing, they're bedside manner is comforting and kind, their surgical skills are wonderful, and you can always tell they truly care about each animal they see, and their human family. “I am very thankful to the doctors and staff here. Back in November my pup was violently ill on the day after thanksgiving and they took me in with no appointment and helped make her feel better. I decided to start using MHAH as our vet for our checkup appt this week (jan) and the entire staff was amazing. The doc prescribed meds and a shampoo which fixed her itchy red skin which she suffered from since we got her a year earlier! Other vets could not figure it out. Forever grateful. 5 stars isn't enough.“

Doctors, management, technicians, assistants and receptionists always put your pet first, and display a complete dedication to the overall wellbeing of our furry loved ones. Patience is a virtue that all staff possess, even when you have endless (oftentimes silly) questions. In this way, staff contribute to our wellbeing as well, putting our minds at ease during difficult times. No animal hospital is perfect, but some are just a tad closer to it than others, this establishment being one of them.“
