Ive been going to Amanda for 18 months. She took my hair from blah to fabulous. She does great permanent color and knows how to remove the unnecessary volume from my thick, wavy hair. I especially love that I can do the express root touch up and be out of there in 20 minutes every 6 weeks when I need my gray hairs covered.
Amanda is a hair genius! I have lived in eastern NC for about 10 years as no one has come close to the magic she can perform! I have extremely dark hair naturally, with gray, and previous color, and she has done my hair twice now and has achieved miracles. Trust her process and you will not be disappointed!! I found Amanda on FB when someone recommended her for color. I stopped coloring my hair 5 years ago, but I still need lowlights and glosses to keep it from being washed out. I appreciate all that she asks for ahead of time to ensure that you are a good match. I sincerely appreciate that she doesn't nickle and dime her customers. She sets the price and that is what it stays. She is the first colorist who actually gave me grey lowlights that didn't change over time to brassy blonde. They are still dark grey months later. Not only is she a good colorist, but she is super talented at haircuts. I have one of the best cuts I've ever had! I have received so many compliments! She has been in the business for years and doesn't have time for nonsense anymore. While this may be off putting to some, I prefer the straight talk. The salon in which she works is older and not as bougie as newer salons, but it's comfortable and the other stylists are so friendly. I feel lucky to have found Amanda. My hair hasn't looked this good since I left my favorite stylist in Chapel Hill.
