Had to come out of pocket before our newborn was covered by insurance for services in April 2023. Once insurance picked up the bill, in June 2023, we requested that the out of pocket cost be refunded to us. It is now November of 2023 and still no update, still no refund, still nothing except a run around every-time I call. I had left a message for a manager named “Tinisha” but didn’t receive a call back. Extremely disappointed in the lack of clarity with this. I wonder to myself how many other families does this happen to on a regular basis? There is no continuity of care, you’re constantly seen by whomever happens to be in their residency rotation. Many of their doctors went to med school at Caribbean med schools which are subpar. I had a doctor double the dosage of a medication because they weren’t paying attention, another asked me if my b/g twins are identical. Messages go unanswered, diagnostic tests that should be scheduled before the clinic visit are not, which means that you have to have multiple appointments before an actionable care plan is in place. If you can go somewhere else, please do. This is not the place you want to receive care.

Through the incompetence of this organization, I ended up overpaying. I spoke to someone over a month ago who told me they had "everything they need" and they "just need to figure out how to get it (the refund) done." Again, I repeat OVER A MONTH... Just how long does it take to issue a check?I called on a Thursday to check on the status. The recording said they are open 8-5, with a lunch break 12:30-2. Well, I called at 12:04 and the last I knew, 12:04 IS NOT 12:30. SO now they're taking a 2 hour break instead of 1.5 hours. POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!
