My Son Robert started training with Master Yu when he was 4 years old. Master Yu tested him for his 1st degree Black Belt when he was 6 years old but told him he had to continue to take until he was 18 years old. We moved away from N.C. when Robert was eight years old but he continued to train and even taught for a few years as a Jr instructor. He continues to test under Master Yu and is now a 3rd Degree and looking forward to one day testing for his 4th degree. I still recommend this school to my friends with children who live in the area. You cannot get a better education in traditional Tae Kwon Do.

I have been training with Grand Master Yu since 1987. It was not hard to pick the school of choice for me. It’s like taking piano lessons, one can train in the living room of a local teacher or one can train at a university under one of the master teachers. We are blessed that our teacher at Young Yu Tae Kwon Do is among the highest ranking masters in this country. Grand Master Yu is a Ninth Dan Grand Master from Seoul Korea here since 1972.
