If your insurance covers other home helth services use the other company. Twice this company told me there were no orders for Physical Therapy, when indeed orders had been wriiten. Once confronted then they would send out a physical therapist 1 week after being discharged from the hospital. Also this date would not work as my husband had a 7 hour infusion on the same day. I called this company and told them to NOT send out anyone anymore. I've asked for new PT orders and I know that his insurance covers in home health companies. This has been a very stressful expreience with these folks and they show no concern for the human side. All they care about is the money.
Awful Awful Awful if my Mom’s Insurance would pay for a different company we’d definitely switch. My Mom is post stroke we have the hardest time getting PT/OT to come out to the house. Ridiculous. As someone in the medical field myself this is an embarrassment. The least and I mean the very least someone could do is communicate with us.
We hired this company to provide us with a home aide for my mother-in-law. The first aide they sent us was awesome. The second aide was a no show 4 times. I have asked them for documentation for my MILs long term insurance for 3 solid months. They only sent them 2 weeks worth. Which has caused my MIL to pay out of pocket for over the 90 days she had already paid for. I will be contacting the state from now on.
