“Dr. Weingold of the Hand Center is quite knowledgeable with a great bedside manner as he has successfully performed multiple hand surgeries on me over the past 2 decades and recently did a tendon reassignment on my wife after she fell and severely broke her wrist a few years ago. I appreciate Dr. Weingold's desire to stay current as this alone resulted in a recent procedure requiring nothing more than a few stitches initially, and then only a Band-Aid after a week or so while the same procedure many years ago put my arm in a cast for over a month each time. I also greatly appreciate their efficient scheduling process as I've never been kept waiting for more than a few minutes with any of my many appointments and then I have always promptly been seen by the doctor. I can't say that about any other medical office whatsoever. My only complaint is with their physical therapy department as there never has been any type of smooth or prompt transition between the doctors and PT. Recently, for a minor issue needing only a simple finger brace, I was sent over to the PT department where I sat outside their office in the narrow hallway for over 30 minutes. When finally brought in, I waited another 30 minutes while the assigned therapist spent 30 minutes looking for a pair of scissors! Leaving 3 hours after my original appointment, I got as far as the second stoplight before the ill fitting finger brace became stuck to my steering wheel and I had to remove it or risk having an accident. When my wife had her cast removed from her arm, she waited nearly an hour, mostly in tears from the pain, before a therapist happened to notice her and brought her in to rest her arm with compresses. Luckily, she had a young therapist who really seemed to know what she was doing and her wrist and hand are now nearly fully functional.“
