I was traveling Christmas week with my 15 year old dachshund. My dog became ill on the way to Greensboro and didn't seem to be getting any better once I arrived. Between Christmas and New Year's, Guilford College Animal Hospital was the only vet open. The entire team did an amazing job with my dog. Dr. Swen Samoska was especially compassionate and caring during a difficult time. Had to make the difficult decision, in the end. But, the entire team were very kind. Had my pets remains cremated and returned, also, very nicely and professionally done. We had taken our dog, Achilles, to this vet when he needed help passing. Very discreet and helpful location. Provided us with ample time to take a few moments with him, despite having a full lobby on a Sunday. We were taken to a private room immediately, and the front desk was very helpful in an emergent, emotional situation.
They were phenomenal with my dog Chunk. They were able to take care of him same day appointment and were so nice to him! He had an infection from another dog attacking him and knew exactly what to do to help him. Usually people are somewhat timid near larger bully breeds but they were so patient with him and the cost was extremely reasonable. Would definitely recommend this place.
