“Jamie took on a big main floor renovation for us that involved demo down to studs, a full kitchen remodel, incorporating outdoor porch space as indoor heated square footage, & more. It was a big undertaking and I’m glad we went with Lakenridge. I’ve done multiple reno projects through the years on different properties & have experienced a spectrum of contractor work & quality. Jamie maintained great communication throughout the project and always took time to go over details, questions, or concerns as they came up. His subcontractors and staff were all very professional and did high-quality work. It was a 5 month long project, which was a relatively short amount of time given the size of the project & delay issues during covid. Inevitable hiccups or problems along the way (always happens with any project) were relatively minor & Jamie always did his best to appease the customer. The biggest issue was due to unexpected increases in cost, partially due to supply chain/materials’ rising costs in 2021-2022 & partially due to unforeseen circumstances during the project. Jamie took the time to sit down with me and go over line by line, and come up with a solution that makes the most sense.Hope to work with Jamie and Lakenridge again!“
“I had two ecobee smart thermostats that I needed installing. The home advisor site put me in contact with Fire and Ice and Joe came out within two hours. Coincidentally my heating went out downstairs that morning. Joe fixed the heating issue and installed the thermostats. He was very thorough and professional and he was proficient in everything that needed to be done. One of the thermostat sensors wouldn’t connect so Joe took the time to troubleshoot with an ecobee technical advisor. I have no hesitation in recommending Joe and his company and will definitely call him again when I need help.“

“Rich replaced/painted 3 exterior doors (2 fiberglass and 1 wood) and a storm door, and did a terrific job on all of them. In one case, he removed the existing frame (due to rot) all the way down to the masonry and rebuilt/installed the door as if it was new construction. He meticulously stained the wood front door so that it's now a real showpiece. All of the work was beautifully done, and he (and wife Devan) left the surrounding areas cleaner than they were before their arrival. Rich also repaired some other old-house-type problems (broken step, holes in the roof, etc.) as part of this project: I believe he can do just about everything, and do it well! In the past, he's also done a similarly beautiful kitchen renovation for me, which I really love. He's very professional, is always on time, and works efficiently, so that the projects have gone smoothly and quickly.Service: Home renovations“
