“A year and a half ago I went to another salon in Gastonia and had by far the worst experience ever for a cut only ??‍♀️! A few months ago I went back to my regular salon in Hickory for a balayage, did not turn out good at all. I had to go back two other times to “fix” my hair (for free because she knew it was bad and it wasn’t me being “picky or difficult “). I was nervous going to a new stylist in Gastonia again, but I was not happy with my hair at all and could take it any longer.

But sis!!! Ms.Paytton did her thing with my hair ??! What I appreciated the most was that, you can tell she loves what she does and she’s her own worst critic. The shop was immaculately clean and welcoming, and Michelle’s vibe was just as refreshing. She took the time to talk with me, gave amazing suggestions tailored to my hair needs, and then worked her magic — and BABY, when I say my hair looks FIRE?! I haven’t stopped smiling since I left.

She’s not just doing hair — she’s out here restoring crowns and building confidence. You can feel the love in every twist. I’ve had my locs done before, but this was a whole different level — next level care, talent, and professionalism.
