WOWMy wife had a bad experience today with Dr. Foster after being a patient there for 22 years. Dr. Foster is not her regular eye doctor there but was previously scheduled with him after losing her glasses and he was the doctor availabe. He acted very annoyed that she was there. She told him that she was having trouble seeing clearly with the prescription he had given her. He sounded irritated telling her that he had given her the correct prescription and that was all she needed. She had her glasses done at a different optical store and he referred to that place and employees in a very unprofessional way. The customer service at the front desk is absolutely horrible. The woman who I have spoken with both times about an appointment involving myself as a VA patient seemed to be misinformed. Thank goodness for Angela who understood my frustration, and was very willing to help resolve the matter. Not only did she help me get my appointment scheduled, but she apologized for the way that my situation was handled. As a veteran I'm appalled to know that someone who answers the phone on behalf of this office could be so dismissive, and unwilling to help. I’m baffled how this place won Best of Gastonia?? The waiting room was packed and they kept telling patients there wasn’t a wait. We waited over an hour to be seen. Our first technician was professional, sweet and awesome. Dr. Lynch is rude, abrasive and antagonistic in everything she says to you. She bit at me for every comment or question. She said “ Any questions?” I asked for the price range of the new contacts she fitted us for since we had to leave the room and would likely never get back in.
