“Truth, compassion, amiable and I was given choices. The care and concern that I and my Kitten received was what I expect. Not everyone has unlimited funds to care for their animal. It's nice to work with a group who understands. Great Job!“
“Sage Pet Hospital is a great place! I took my cat there after my neighbor recommended them. They are very kind and understanding that not everyone can afford expensive care for their animals and they do not make you feel bad about it. If available they offer different price points for treatments. The staff is just fantastic and you and your animal feel very welcome the minute you walk in the door! I won't take my kitties anywhere else! Thank you Sage Pet Hospital and my kitty Big Head says thank you too!!“
“Drove 50 minutes to have a duck looked at. Dr. Sarah Hargrove was definitely worth the drive. Highly recommend.“
“My cat was ill and eventually had to be put to sleep. They kindly discussed medical options and costs. Very understanding that I didn’t have unlimited funds for the care of my sweetie. Professionally and sensitively handled. Highly recommend this practice.“
“We were so pleased with the excellent care our senior Bischon mix dog received at Western Carolina Veterinary. He’s had luxating patella’s in both back knees his whole life, and in early November, his worse back knee really got strained going up 3 short stairs. Our regular vet told us we needed an orthopedic specialist and based on the great reviews, we came here.We did NOT want to have to do surgery, and thankfully, Dr. Crouch agreed. I loved Dr. Crouch’s approach of a conservative treatment plan made up of injections (not into the joint, but into the skin) of joint supporting medicine, natural supplements (like fish oil and organic CBD), and focusing on flat walks for exercise (no jumping, running in circles, etc) .Dr. Crouch clearly loves his field as he is very up to date on all treatment options, the complications that come with surgery and how to mitigate it, etc. He was very kind and spent a lot of time with us explaining things and answering our questions. We couldn’t have had a better visit, and we’ve since implemented his recommendations with our primary vet and seen great results! Our dog is walking great, not in pain at all, and back to his normal self. Thank you Dr. Crouch and team!“
“All the people here are so caring. Our dogs love to go we feel that they take such good care of them.“
“Everyone we interacted with here was awesome. Mike especially was very kind and understanding of our very sad situation. Thank you Mike! You are amazing sir!“
“Treated like family!
Words cannot express the love and care we were shown in a most difficult situation. We were visiting the Asheville area with Farley (dog) and Sylvia (cat) in tow. Sylvia (age 16) became distressed and breathing labored. We needed a vet and quickly. I read a few reviews online and called WNC. They responded to our emergency and got us in quickly. It became obvious that Sylvia would not recover. They were so very kind and compassionate. They cried with us and loved on us. We were treated like family. We even received a condolence card in the mail with notes from all the folks we met there and an ink print of Sylvia's paw print. We will never forget the kindness shown. If I lived in Asheville, WNC would be our veterinarian!
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.“
“I have been seeing Sweeten Creek Animal and Bird for medical care on my senior dog for the past 3 years. I couldn't be happier with the experience. From the moment we walked in, the staff was welcoming and professional. The waiting area was clean and comfortable, which helped keep Bone calm.
Dr. Bolt is exceptional. He took the time to thoroughly examine Bone and explain everything in detail. I appreciated the way they handled Bone with such care and patience, making sure he felt safe throughout the visit. They also provided clear and helpful advice on Bone’s diet and overall health.
I have seen several other practitioners at the office and all have been caring, communicative, flexible, knowledgeable, and honest. Special thanks to Dr. Foster for her help in Bones end of life care.
A special shout-out goes to Michelle, who always goes the extra mile for us. She remembered Bone from our previous visits and always greeted him with such warmth that he instantly felt at ease. Michelle’s attention to detail and genuine concern for Bone’s well-being are truly commendable. Whether it’s helping with scheduling, providing updates, or offering comforting words during stressful times, Michelle consistently makes our visits smooth, personable, and pleasant. Words cannot put into place how grateful I am for her assistance through the years.
It's clear that Sweeten Creek Animal and Bird prioritizes both the comfort of their patients and the quality of their care.
Overall, I highly recommend Sweeten Creek Animal and Bird to any pet owner. Their compassionate care, knowledgeable staff, and top-notch facilities make them stand out as one of the best veterinary clinics I've ever visited.“
“My YorkiePoo has been enjoying personalized attention for over twelve years. The premises are spotlessly maintained by Mary and Forrest, who are the owners.“
“I have been going to Animal Care Clinic for over 17 years. Dr. Carman is the very best. I would not trust my dog with anyone else.“
“My Chihuahua, Winky needed extensive dental surgery requiring a bone graft, this had to be completed by a dental surgeon out of state. Dr.Weaver was supportive and helpful in getting this referral for me at this very busy dental surgeons office within a month. Dr.Weaver may have saved my dogs life as she prevented a very bad outcome had this surgery not been done. She also put up with my many question's and consternation about this procedure.
I think the biggest support was her gift of listening.
Dr.Weaver has done the follow up exam and will continue to follow my dog, who is doing wonderfully.
Dr.Weaver is an excellent and caring Veterinarian. I cannot say enough about the expertise and caring that she and the wonderful staff have provided. I am in awe I found her and the wonderful folks in the office to provide such quality and care.“
“I moved away 5.5 years ago. I walked back into Pinnacle today and it was as if I had never left. Dr. McMullan and team were kind, patient and made sure I understood everything going on with my aging babies.“
“The most wonderful caring compassionate people I've ever met. My will states my service dogs handier can only use funds with this vets permission“
“We've been using this Clinic for over 35 years. Always received excellent care for all our animals. Dogs, cats, and horses. Dr. Carrie Carman is a very caring and knowledgeable vet. We trust her implicitly.“
“Great Staff and Doctors, I felt comfortable and not rushed. I felt they truly cared about my animal and offered great care and service In a time were most veterinary hospitals are owned by a corporation, and it is all about the $$ and requiring soo many add ons to your pets exam or surgery just so your pet can have a routine procedure.. I found Animals R Us a very refreshing change.. they offer all that your pets need but do not push for doing extreme extras that are not necessary or even helpful..“
“Such a drama filled first appointment but you guys made it as easy as possible and we're so grateful. I'm sure Ellie May will be excited to go back.“
“If you are looking for a vet for your new pet you can’t find a better place than Animal Hospital South. They have been carrying for our dogs for the last 9 years and we could not be happier. They really do care about your pets health and well-being. We just recently had to put our dog Ginger down. While it was one of the hardest decisions we have even had to make, they helped us thought he process and made sure that she was comfortable. We just received a card from the staff. Not only did they take the time to send us the card but each staff member took the time to write a personal message. It was a very special surprise. Thank you all for taking care of our sweet Ginger. We will continue to take all our pets.“
“The veterinarian and support staff are the most carìng . They go out of their their way to help your pets.“
“Best vet I've ever had. My 10 year old dog, Ziggy, had a bacterial infection on his leg for 5 months. He saw 3 other vets and was given tons of antibiotics and other meds to treat it (of course with side effects). I spent thousands on this issue with the other vets. In exasperation I drove from Asheville to Hendersonville to Dr. Howland. Dr. Howland asked if he could look at the bacteria under the microscope so we could treat the exact kind (what??why didn't the others do that?). He gave Ziggy a cream to treat it and it was gone in 2 weeks. The bill was $170. I literally was jaw dropped in the difference in care, price and customer service (the gals at the front desk are awesome too). Most vets have been bought out by private equity and run from corporate now - ie, have to give an expensive, elaborate "treatment plan" and charge at least $500 per visit but White Oak is a gem that still runs by knowledgeable skilled doctors and excellent staff.“
