10/22/24 Today was my last day of LANAP surgery. I had it done, 3 years ago…but because my A1C was so high, I did not heal (nor show regrowth) like I should have. Now that my A1C is much lower, I’m off the insulin, and weight is down, I had this procedure done again. The pic is of the first day (right side). I’ll be on a liquid only diet until Thursday or Friday, then soft foods after until my follow up.
LANAP is the alternative to flap surgery with bone grafting (for gum disease/bone loss). It is less invasive & has a quicker/easier healing. It is done with a laser (the smell/taste of burnt “flesh”(?) isn’t the greatest). The... read full review

This morning I had a gingival graft with Dr. Campbell and her team, utilizing the tissue from the roof of my mouth to make it go smoothly. Two days ago, when Taylor (Dr. Campbell's coordinator) called me, she was very polite and professional with ensuring I knew what to expect, and made me feel confident prior to coming in. From the moment I went in this morning and met with Melissa (Dr. Campbell's CDA), I was comfortable and at ease. Melissa had a very warm presence, she was willing to joke with me since that's what I do when I'm slightly nervous, and she was very thorough with her explanations on how everything was going to go, including the post... read full review

My 9yr old daughter had a procedure this morning with Dr. Thakker and it was amazing. From start to finish we were aware of what would take place, the medicine that would be used, the people who would be in the room, the amount of time it would require and so forth. They truly helped my daughter relax before they began. We were both nervous. The nurses Crystal and Katrina were amazing and so sweet to my girl. The anesthesiologist was amazing also. (Sorry I didn’t catch his name) I would highly recommend this facility to those looking for their specialty. Thank you all once again. Oh my baby had a small tumor with baby teeth in them.
