I feel like they meet an important need, especially for alot of spouses whose partner may be deployed and all their friends have crazy work schedules. Alot of laproscopic procedures or even simple surgeries require general anesthesia and/or the patient cannot drive themself. Their help meant that I did not have to reschedule something that turned out to be pretty serious.“

“I live 230 miles from my 95 year old Aunt who lives alone. Home Instead does her grocery shopping, picks up prescriptions and runs any other errands needed. I visit once a month but Home Instead is my eyes and ears each week. The office staff is wonderful and I cannot say enough good about the individual that attends to my aunt’s needs.“

“They are very nice and very professional here.From the morning, Mrs. Tammy Vickers came to visit my Beautiful Mama, she decided that wanted care at home. The nice young men who brought the equipment out were awesome.Mr. Eric and Mr. Fabban brought everything out and was very thorough. They noticed that the bed didn't work, and they left and came right back with a replacement.The day she came home, Mrs. Keisha was very professional and made sure that we got the care she needed while she was home. She ordered everything my Mama needed and set her up with an awesome RN, Chris. Chris is amazing! He made us both so comfortable with his kind words and the care he gave my Mama. They also set her up with an aid that came out to wash her every day. Ms. Leisha is amazing as well. She connected with my Mama on a level that made my Mama look forward to her visit every afternoon.My Mama decided to go back because they don't really provide a physical therapy program, and my Mama wanted to be home and get that service. Fernando (I hope that is his name. I'm sorry if i have it wrong.) She ended up going back in where she was and getting the care she needed.When they came back to pick up their equipment, Mr. Eric and Mr. Fabban came back, and they were just as they were bringing the equipment out to my Mama's home. They are all very respectful of your home and property. I never have the clean-up after any of the RN, Nurses Aid, and Equipment Men.I appreciate everyone and everything they have done for my Beautiful Mama. May God bless you all. Thank you.“

“The four stars are for Amedisys in the Knoxville, TN area. I used Amedisys in Oak Ridge and Knoxville, TN area off and on almost 15 years, and my parents used them as well. When we found out we were moving to Fayetteville, NC I looked for Amedisys here. The Amedisys Social Worker in TN spoke with the Amedisys Social Worker here in July several times to make the transition easier. Amedisys in Fayetteville called me once before we left TN at end of July 2022, and again the first week of August after we arrived to hopefully start services in the next few weeks. I had one tele-appointment with a NP and a PA (tested positive for. COVID) and both reassured me that Amedisys would begin home health in 1-2 weeks. It's December and we are still waiting. We called a few times in August but they stopped taking our calls. If we left messages, our calls were not returned. I called a few private companies but they want clients who pay for their services, not Medicare. They wanted a minimum of $1000/month, which I cannot do. I am 69 with mobility issues. I don't need someone to sit with me all day. I need 2-3 baths per week, sheets changed and hair washed once a week, floors swept twice a week, and mopped once a week. I'd like to have an RN with psychology training every week to start then every 2 weeks, one with psychiatric training if possible. I need PT and OT twice a week if possible. If Amedisys cannot provide these services please let me or my daughter know. If you can refer us to another provider, please contact me or my daughter.
