I gave up on another local veterinarian in my town because they don't take appointments. The wait could be 6 minutes or 6 hours. Chowan offers appointments and the people are friendly, kind and professional. The 45 minute drive is MORE than worth it.
Fantastic customer service. The vet was very caring about my pet. She discussed charges with me before performing tests. I really appreciated that! I will be going back if any of my dogs need to go to a doctor.
Though I've dealt mostly with Dr. Ford, I have always been impressed and well satisfied with all of the staff. Through our more than 25 years of experiencing birth, routine preventive, emergency care, and loss of one of our furbabies, they have always been nothing but curtious, highly professional and compassionate. Whenever and for whatever our need for their help, we have never experience anything less than than family like treatment.
