Complete Chiropractic Sports and Wellness Physical Therapy

“I’ve been coming to Complete Chiropractic since 2021 when I was pregnant with my first child. They took incredible care of me to help with joint issues during both my pregnancies, in addition to helping heal a herniated disc and general back pain. Kevin and his team are thorough doctors, personable, kind and make you feel comfortable. I recommend them to everyone who is in need of any kind of chiropractic care!“

“Anastasia is awesome! Although I came in with Achilles tendinopathy at the Insertion, she has given me an entirely different perspective on my total body mobility and how my body is connected. She spends the time getting to know the subtleties of one's body, the pain points and listens to what you tell her. Listening, caring, exploring and finding the best course of treatment are her gifts. And, she is so personable that you feel like you have a friend. She has helped me in many ways and being older, I need all the help I can get! Oh, and do your homework!“

Upright Athlete Physical Therapy Physical Therapy

“I have used Upright Athlete both for physical therapy and for strengths training. I seriously broke my right ankle (pilon fracture) in April 2023, had surgery, was non-weight bearing in a wheelchair for three months. And I started physical therapy with Gabe Dimock in July 2023. He has been amazing -- thoughtful, supportive, kind, encouraging, and flexible and always took time to answer questions. Ten months later (!!) after physical therapy for twice a week, I finally graduated over to the other side of the gym and have been doing strengths training with Gabe since May 2024. Am very grateful to be back to walking, hiking and building back my strength and stamina and I am so glad I chose to work with Upright Athlete. Highly, highly recommend them!“

The Body Games Center Physical Therapy

“I stumbled upon their Instagram page and immediately knew that The Body Games was something I had to add to my regimen. This is a good supplement to my indoor cycling membership as it includes strength training. DJ and Dominque have been nothing but friendly AND encouraging. They encourage me to push myself, assist with my form, and actively help during the work outs. The environment is very inclusive. You will see people of all shapes, sizes, and ages there. I highly recommend this place! Plus it's a locally-owned Durham business!“

“Ryan is a fantastic personal trainer! I'd highly recommend him for anyone new to weightlifting as well as anyone with specific goals! For context, I came to Ryan after two failed attempts of working with other personal trainers in Durham. I had prior experience with weightlifting but struggled to feel confident in lifting heavy on my own. In less than a year, Ryan has helped me go from squatting 15 reps at 105lb to 185lb. He's also helped me increase my strength endurance immensely! I can now sustain lifting heavy through circuit training. I've been able to make all of this progress injury-free, which is really important to me.So far, I've shared how Ryan has helped me to achieve my goals, all of which are signs of a good personal trainer. But what makes Ryan stellar is his personhood! Ryan is a very thoughtful, supportive, funny and focused personal trainer. As someone who wants to excel in multiple areas, he's helped to keep me focused on developing my leg strength. He's also been very intentional about including exercises that support increased mobility + strength for activities tied to running and swimming (both of which I do). Ryan is also very personable and supportive and takes the time to get to know you. He understands that when we show up for a session, we're bringing our whole selves, which may include stress from work or our personal lives. And he takes all of that into account when supporting you in a training session and makes adjustments based on your mental, emotional, and physical capacity that day. Ryan is the best!If you're still on the fence, just do it! You won't regret it! ?“

“I came to work with Hollie when having lower back pain. It was interfering with my day to day tasks but Hollie helped me to make adjustments, strengthen those muscles, and help identify and strengthen others muscles that were contributing to the pain. She helped me feel better and have more confidence to get back to the gym. I recommend her for all your PT needs!“

“I came to Toby in search of a Rolfer/body integration specialist recently and was very happy with the experience! There's a free 30-minute consultation, in which he'll evaluate your needs and do a little hands-on work. He ended up referring me to a place that's more PT-based, but I so appreciated his time. Toby clearly knows his stuff, so I highly recommend him!“

“Dr. Jacob's PT methods are unique and specialized to the individual. He has truly helped me become free both physically and mentally to move again. I always walk out of my appointments having learned a new way to practice movement and exercise. He has helped me gain back mobility and movement in my back that I had avoided for years due to pain and fear of causing more pain.I am forever grateful for Jacob! He is the best!“

“I always have a great experience and have recommended Dr Brown & his practice to family and friends many times over the last several years. They have likewise had great experiences. He truly cares about my health and the health of my family members that he’s treated. Dr. Brown is extremely knowledgeable about chiropractic, nutrition, and other systems of the body. He is thorough, ordering appropriate scans like X-rays when warranted, and helps me understand his diagnosis. I always leave feeling so much better and his treatments are long-lasting for me. In addition, the staff are wonderful, respectful, caring, and knowledgeable.“
