Amazing place! Great teachers and so many fun classes I want to try! Unlike so many people I know, I never took dance growing up, However I have always enjoyed movement and wished I could dance actual steps. All that to say I was super intimidated to take the plunge now, in my late 30s. I started with a Saturday afternoon line dancing workshop. I was immediately put at ease by the friendliness and the diversity of ages, sizes, and shapes of people that I found taking the class with me. After my wonderful experience at the workshop, I signed up for beginning modern jazz. Tracey Durbin is an amazing teacher! I've been dancing at Ninth Street Dance for over 15 years and it truly is a wonderful place! It is a fantastic atmosphere for adult dancers (and kids), with caring, insightful instructors. I highly recommend Ninth Street Dance to anyone looking to take classes to brush up their skills, return to dance from an injury or who just want to have a good time!

I found this dance studio back in Jan of 2018 when I decided to try a dance class for the first time ever as my New Year’s resolution. I have been coming here (from Raleigh) ever since! This place is so great!The community is very accepting and so welcoming and I never have to worry about being “judged”. I’ve taken many different classes and enjoyed them all. All the instructors have been great, so patient, and fun! This is a place for all to dance. I’ve made fabulous friendships during my time here and I would not have survived my PhD without these stress-busting dance classes.Thank you Bepi, for all you do in continuing to make this a fun and positive atmosphere!
