If you’re a Bikram yoga ‘purist’ like I am (i.e., classes led by Bikram certified teachers in truly hot, humid rooms), the Hot 26 Bikram classes at My Yoga are for you. The studio offers a welcoming, supportive and friendly environment, it’s clean and bright, and the price is competitive. (It rivals any of the Bikram studios across the US that I’ve practiced in over the years.) Kate P is an excellent leader … I’m just hoping more Hot 26 Bikram classes will be added to the morning schedule, ideally with Kate. ? HIGHLY recommend My Yoga!
I used to go to My Yoga studio before the pandemic hit. I loved it. I signed up for six months. When the pandemic hit and the studio closed down, the owner shut down. I asked her about virtual classes and she said she was not technologically savvy and referred me to a generic online yoga site. I honored my contract and paid for 5.5 months and got nothing in return. She never offered to work with me. It is a shame because it is a nice studio and good classes. But the owner needs to be willing to work with her clients. I am looking for a yoga studio and My Yoga is not going to be it.
