I have been a client of James Akers since before he purchased Do or Dye …. Likely I’ve had him working with my hair for 27 or more years. He does great work and he has good ideas if the client will listen. He is infinitely patient, kind as they come and pretty darn funny. I have recommended four or five people who have continued with him ever since.

My boys and I have had so many bad experiences with other places in the area. One lady even hit my son with a hairbrush, needless to say we will never be allowed back at that establishment. We are extremely happy with Do or Dye. The people are very kind, patient, and knowledgeable. We haven't been unsatisfied yet. We also recently moved an hour away and will still make the drive to Durham to have our cuts here. I would rate them a lot higher if I could.
