Recently I posted a scathing Review directed at Yelp (I was wrong) for having outdated tel. & bus. info on "Dennis Best Men's Salon" (DBMS). Stating, that they no longer existed... that when I called their tel# a person answered the phone giving a different business name, though, I did make an appointment w/this new shop. Later, while checking out their Cus. Portal website I became concerned as to what had happened to DBMS and whether they had taken over his business, etc., and sent them a text questioning as to, "What happened to DBMS, had they relocated and/or had they, this new shop, taken over DBMS' business?" I did not get an answer/reply so I continued to re-send the same question 3 days in a row, never getting any response from the shop. I became so frustrated at the shop's non-communication I immediately went to Yelp and posted the incorrect info I mentioned, above. I was "100% wrong" on my post as I found out via a private text sent to me explaining that I must have dialed the wrong number, that DBMS was definitely still in business and thriving. Further, that they do not have an internet Customer Portal for making appointments, only their listed phone number. I dialed DBMS' tel# again and got a very friendly voice answering this is DBMS can I help you. I was so embarrassed that I hurriedly said thanks...I'll call back later! I had indeed, originally, called the wrong number and though they had a similar address they definitely were not DBMS‼ I want to personally apologize profusely to Yelp and Dennis (especially) and sincerely thank the individual that notified me of my mistake‼ I let my immediate frustration with the non-reply from the Shop I had spoken with in error get the best of me vs. catching my breath and rechecking the info on Yelp‼ I will be calling DBMS the next time I need a haircut. And, again I am so sorry for my earlier post berating Yelp for having outdated info on their site and to DBMS for saying you were no longer in business. I am 70 yrs. old but never too old to admit my mistakes and learn from them!

Latham has been my barber for a while now, and he has by far surpassed anybody i've ever had cut my hair. The other guys in the shop are super friendly and every haircut is a good time.

I attempted a walk-in here, only to find out that they do appointments only, however my barber Jason was able to schedule me for an appointment later that day. I showed up about 15 minutes early and he was able to get me started right away! Asked what I wanted and I did my best to describe it, and he absolutely nailed it! (Honestly better than what I imagine, so extremely happy) He was also efficient and I got in and out way sooner than expected (I'd say it was simple, but I also don't know hair or I'd cut it myself) and the price point is great for the service received! I'm certainly going back to Jason for my next haircut!
