“Dr Ju has a big sign on his office wall that says: “I AM HEALING.” I had a herniated disc that caused tremendous low back pain and nerve pain down my leg, and over the last couple months I’ve spent a lot of time in Dr Ju’s office reading those words and feeling hopeful instead of depressed and afraid. Dr Ju truly believes in the body’s ability to heal, and when you’re in pain you really need someone to remind you that you can and will get better. Dr Ju is knowledgeable, empathetic, and very patient. He is a skilled practitioner who is always educating himself and sharing his knowledge and experience with his patients. In early June, I had to have someone else drive me to the office and I used a walker to get from the car into Dr Ju’s office. “I have been going to Dr. Luke Shackleford for hip dysplasia pain management for approx 4 months. He had my symptoms and pain under control and my gait pretty normal. On June 9th I was in a motor vehicle accident and we pretty much had to start over but was having more issues than just the hip. Neck, back, shoulder and both hips. Also had a very large hematoma on Right leg and this is where I want to focus today. On July 15th this hematoma was 36 days old and still causing a lot of discomfort.
