Love my hair stylist!!!! Not the conditions as much. The hot water has gone out several times and we've had to wait about 20 mins for (I guess) it to refill or reheat OR I had to be rinsed in water. I'll follow my hairdresser (almost) anywhere and would love where she is to be upkept to the quality of my services rendered.

I called and scheduled an appointment with Candy for my daughter to get her hair braided. I texted her a picture and she told me that it would be $180 dollars. I bring her in and she charges me $200 because she said her hair was long. The only reason I allowed my daughter to get her hair done there because she wanted that done for her birthday. That's the second time she's done that to me. While the hairstyle was nice, that's a poor practice and I will not use her to get braid styles again. I'll drive the extra 30 minutes to get the price I was quoted originally. It's a shame because she does a great job but she shouldn't be so dishonest for an extra $20.

Awesome salon! Brittany, Hair Babe is the stylist is go to at Amaka's International. But, Ive seen everyone's work and all of them stylist are great. From the hairstylist, to the barber, to the braided, everyone is great. If you're looking for a new hair salon, try Amaka's International.
