Do not stay at OH619 and I would advise against using Stan White as your vacation rental agency or property management company. Our vacation rental (OH619) is filthy. There is years of grime on everything, it’s infested with roaches, the floors had tons of sand and hair on them when we arrived, there is mold in the tubs. The paint is pealing off the deck, the siding is falling off the house, the screens are falling out of the doors. The vacuum does not work, the one they gave us to use instead died with in 2 minutes of use. This is our sixth year renting from Stan White Realty and the third different house we have rented. The entire process is pretty smooth. I wish that adding options (such as the linen package) were a little more obvious on the website. But, a few email exchanges have take care of that. With their large inventory, I don't doubt that there have been a few problems as reflected in the negative reviews. My philosophy is that anyone can mess up on occasion and that human nature is more inclined to complain than to compliment. My experience has been almost all positive.
We have been staying in the Outer Banks since I was a kid and have NEVER rented a property in the condition of Almost Home that we rented from Stan White Realty in October 2020. The pictures online did not match the house (and were taken off their website after we left). One bedroom was unusable because of what looked and smelled like a mold issue, the door do the deck didn't open, most of the electrical outlets in the family room didn't work, the kitchen cabinets were a mess, the gas grill was covered with mold and on and on.
