About Sally's YMCA
Sally's YMCA is a community-focused fitness center located on a 150-acre family farm in East Lincoln County. The branch was established in 2011 in memory of Sally Mackenzie Clark. With a strong commitment to serving the community, Sally's YMCA, together with the Lincoln County YMCA, provides childcare services to over 300 children weekly and offers group fitness classes. The facility has an outdoor pool, primarily used by children, and a gym with a range of equipment. While the staff is friendly and professional, the facility has limited hours and a smaller selection of fitness classes compared to other YMCAs. Despite this, members appreciate the value for money and respectful atmosphere.
Great programs for children! The youth programs are very organized and affordable. Great events for the community. We look forward to the Halloween and Christmas events every year. The staff is so welcoming and nice. The facilities are always clean. I’ve been a member for 3 years and have never been disappointed.
The ymca itself is fine. My daughter goes to camp there, I dont use the facilities. I just sign up for a membership to get the discounted rates for my daughter, but the fact that I have to come in person to fill out a form in order to cancel my membership is insane. It's 2024 and this screams of tactics to discourage you to come in and makes it way less convient just to get rid of a membership. For that reason I'm giving 3 stars. Very anti consumer and I won't be signing for another membership. I will continue to utilize them for their camps durring the summer though.
Every staff I have encounter had been friendly and professional. But the faculty is small compared to other Y’s, only an outdoor pool that seems to be more for children. They also do not offer a lot of fitness classes and the times of classes are more in the day.
