I recommend Artful Strands because they have multiple professionals under one roof I haven’t utilized, so one bad apple doesn’t speak for the lot. However I do NOT recommend Hannah Miller. While she is a very sweet girl with a great personality, her cut and color matching skills were severely lacking. I came into the salon, as everyone does, with an inspo picture. A very beautiful color that represented Autumn. A lot of browns mixed with deep bronzey and copper reds. The plan was to keep my roots my natural color (light brown). By the end, my roots turned into a coppery “brownish” color. Horrible. The deep bronzey coppers/reds mixed with browns I was supposed to get turned into a copper mess! My head could be used as currency it’s so copper. There isn’t a lick of brown in my hair. I choked back my tears in the salon and waited to have my mental breakdown in my car. The color turned out looking absolutely NOTHING like the inspo picture. Not even barely, not even close. When explaining my displeasure for the way it turned out, there were several excuses as to why I turned out the way it did. “It’s because your hair is so thick”, “it’s because your hair is so porous”…. When she was talking to another stylist about the way it turned out she actually said “I don’t understand why it turned out this way”… seriously? During my visit she even mentioned how a previous color session turned out the same way. Apparently that customer complained about how her color turned out as well, also stating it didn’t look like her inspo pic. She followed up that story with “some people are just hard to please.” The fact she mentioned that while slapping lightener in my hair was unprofessional. If color wasn’t already being applied I would have taken that as my sign to leave. She offered to fix my hair by adding low lights at some point but honestly I’m uncomfortable with her touching my hair again. Especially if I’ll be charged for the low lights. As I already paid $315 (not including tip) to have my hair turn out NOTHING like I wanted. You fool me once…. Regardless, I left her a tip for her time but not for her talents. Only because I’m a decent human being and I was in her chair for more than 3 hours.

Hannah was fantastic!! I am beyond happy with how my hair turned out. I will definitely be back.
