Pilates seemed intimidating at first, but the teachers (Aletheia and Reeves) are welcoming and don’t push you to keep up. I never feel judged, even when I’m just laying on my mat taking a rest during our workout (which is absolutely encouraged). Pilates was HARD in the beginning, but with each class, I’m taking one step at a time toward my goal of getting stronger. I’ll end with the best thing I learned at the studio: the hardest part of any class is showing up, so if you show up, you’ve already done the hardest part.“
