Tree Service near Cornelius

“There were absolutely some ups and downs with my tree removal project. A little miscommunication, a hurricane, some broken equipment… It was in some ways a 2-3 star experience at times. However, in the end the folks at Monster did the 5 star thing which is to make things right and some.

Our arborist was great working with a quote and some back and forth on my end regarding timing. However, he was able to sneak our job in early compared to the initial booking date. A little miscommunication on where to put some logs occurred, my only recommendation is just be explicit, work with the crew, and provide what you want in writing if possible!

If you don't hear anything, just reach out, they are super helpful, but some things maybe get lost in the mix.

There was a massive stump, and unfortunately some was missed which did lead to a longer timeline than I had hoped. That said,  the crew doing it was amazing and were completely transparent that they may have missed some and would come back to finish it if there was any.

This all led to about a month start to finish from scheduling to tree removal to stump grinding and grinding again. That said, hurricane Helene hit during that time, their stump grinder broke, both entirely out of their control.

When Zach discovered there were some issues he reached out personally and offered to help where he could to accommodate my inability to do some things due to a back injury. They came back out to help me stack logs away for the winter, even ones on my property from other trees. They truly went above and beyond to put themselves in the homeowner shoes and be understanding.

In a perfect world everything would have been completely smooth and over in a week, but sh*t happens and I can say this is the next best thing given the situation. In my book that care is 5 stars because you can trust if something unexpected goes wrong, they will fix it.“
