We needed the original pinewood floors in our kitchen and breakfast areas plus one long hallway sanded and refinished in our nearly 100 year old home. A couple years ago, Darin came out and gave us an estimate for the same work. He measured the moisture content in the sub-flooring and beams in the crawlspace and determined that we needed to cover/seal the bare ground in the crawlspace in order to lower the moisture content in the wood. It’s been over a year since Elegant Floors refinished the hardwood floors in the house that we had recently purchased and we are still pleased with them as we were when Darin finished the job. The floors were originally stained dark and were pretty beat up after 30 years. We had a few floor companies come and give us quotes but we picked Elegant Floors because of their outstanding reviews. Darin’s passion for his work was evident the first time we met him. He is meticulous, uses superior products (Bona), and does not cut corners. Darin really impressed me with his knowledge and professional pride. We had to seal the crawlspace before he could could guarantee his work and I see the difference it has made in my home environment. I love the floors!! They are so beautiful! I almost don't want to cover them up with furniture and a pretty rug. I will definitely call him with any projects I have in the future. Great, honest people are hard to find now, but he is definitely one. Thanks you so much Darin!
