We purchased a fixer upper home that had a disastrous heat pump situation. With an incorrectly-installed air handler unit draining condensate under the house, and plenums that were not connected properly, the dank moist crawlspace air was being sucked up into the living space of the house. Enter our superheroes, Bill and Shawn from Air Velocity! Not only did they pull the proper permit and size the unit correctly, but they expertly replaced the whole system - air handler, condenser, plenums -- on one of the hottest days of the summer. The best part was that they suspended the new air handler from the joists (as opposed to sitting it up on old cinderblock pedestals), so that when we had the space encapsulated, there was no need to cut holes in the underlayment. Not only does the new air handler look good, but it's SO quiet - and coupled with the new thermostat and outdoor condenser, it's a total system that is efficient and effective in making our home climate wonderful! Air Velocity's team is professional, honest, hard-working, friendly and skilled. They know what they are talking about, don't oversell, and stand behind their work.
