Dr. Dalton Harvey has been gently reminding me for a while that my wisdom teeth needed to come out. After a year of putting it off, and after the serious talk about how hard it is to keep them clean, the risk of decay, and how it could affect other teeth. I finally decided it was time. Now, I’m not a fan of needles (despite my size!), so I went with the option of medication to highly sedate me. That way, I could get both the deep cleaning and wisdom teeth removal done in one visit. We scheduled it for a Friday, which they don’t normally do, but they made it happen just for me. That alone made me feel special, but honestly, they always make me feel valued. They listen to me, they check in if I flinch or react, and they genuinely care. Kudos to Dr. Harvey, Robin (my dental hygienist), Tiffany (who handled all the scheduling and gave me every detail I needed before and after), and the wonderful nurse whose name I sadly forgot, but she was so kind. She made sure I was comfortable the entire time: taking X-rays, checking my blood pressure, bringing me a warm blanket, and reassuring me before the procedure. Even though I wasn’t fully under and could feel some pressure, I never felt any pain. From start to finish, not one moment was uncomfortable. This is a team of true professionals who also happen to be amazing people. Claremont Dental Arts is worth the 45-minute drive every single time.
