They quoted us $235 over the phone and when they came out, they asked for a signature BEFORE they started without giving pricing. Once they broke ground with the excavator it started to bubble up indicating a backup. They stopped and said "ok we see the problem, your system is backed up. To clean out the tank and the lines it's going to be $3,200" WHAAAATTTTTT!!!!!???? My mother is 70 years old and haven't been able to use much water since the end of August!!! Then he said "well for what we did today (breaking ground and cleaning out the tank) it will be $1,403.23". I almost passed out!!! Potential Customers Beware!! I'm totally disappointed with my recent experience with Septic Blue. An overzealous commission greedy technician arrived at my home to do a basic $225 septic tank pump service that turned into an unexpected $5,000 repair. They charge outrageously high prices for materials (tank lids and riser covers) and included hidden charges such as an Advantage Membership Plan and other products (Bio Liquid 6- Bottles) that were not openly discussed and agreed upon.

Please request an itemized quote prior to any work being done along with an associated receipt for services rendered to avoid getting robbed!! I will never again... read full review

Tech came out to drain our septic but couldn’t find where to connect even though we showed him the general vicinity of where other companies had connected to drain it. They charged us $50 for a service call. Another company came out and found where to connect in a few minutes. I tried calling septic blue to inform them that I thought a refund was warranted and they advised a manager would call me back. The manager never called and I would never recommend for anyone to use this company.
