I owe everything to this place. Chronic nerve damage and hemiplegic migraines that weren't managed through medication were actually soothed here. I was in a head on collision 3 years with no relief until I started recieving treatment here. Theyre not money driven and actually care about their patients. I have gone about 3 months with no treatment and no pain. Thank you so much.
Very knowledgeable, kind, and professional practitioners. I noticed a difference in my pain from the first session, and after 3 months there was no question that the sessions helped alleviate my symptoms. So happy I found this place.
Yao-Qing Huang is knowledgeable and would be great but be prepared to pay out of pocket- $99. They do not accept insurance despite being contracted in-network with Cigna. They do not file claims with any insurance. They will give you a paper claim form but you have to file. Which if they are claiming to be in-network, they are supposed to file. I checked with Cigna and my benefits to make sure my appt would be covered in network. I read all the new patient paperwork and they never once mentioned anything about billing. I talked to Yao-Qing Huang during the consult before acupuncture services were provided and he said he wasn't sure what each patients co-pay would be. My Cigna Champion/advocate called their practice afterwards to find out more details and the woman (Susan?) answered. Cigna told me that as soon as he mentioned he was from Cigna and had questions about billing, she said the language barrier was too great and the Cigna representative would need to talk to the doctor and they would call Cigna back (spoiler alert; they didn't call back) and they were really busy so it would be later on in the day. Granted, I spent 2 hours there and was the only patient besides Yao-Qing Huang and the woman. And when I left there were no other patients. This is suspicious because the woman had no problem talking with me when scheduling the appointment. Yao-Qing Huang does have a thick accent so it is hard to tell what he is saying 100% if the time. But that's not why I was unpleased and disappointed in this practice. Just an FYI. No matter what insurance you have, they don't accept any but you can file a claim yourself. You've been warned.
