Dave is very, very personable! He's a really nice guy and uses a family setting and his experience as a parent to say things to get his subject to laugh or smile. It breaks the ice so they will become more relaxed and take better pictures.His expertise comes through as you watch him move lighting inside, test lighting outside, pose the subject inside and outside to get the perfect shots. He's very fun to work with and even carried his huge lighting equipment 3 blocks away, and back, to get different backgrounds for the casual photos. We offered to help him carry it but he would hear of it. He IS a talker, but that's just part of the business. It would be pretty awkward...read full review

We had family photos planned and our 5 year old was not cooperating. Dave did a GREAT job of getting him distracted and involved in the process. Turned a very stressful situation into great photos and a wonderful memory. I would highly recommend family photos at Portrait Creations Photography.

Absolutely fantastic work! Dave is a great and accomplished photographer- very funny and puts you at ease. The turnaround time was lightening fast and the quality of the images exceeded my expectations. Thank you!
