Came home from vacation to an AC unit not working. Call a competitor of Komfort (Morris Jenkins) and was told the board in the unit was fried and melted. The motor & compressor was done. The coolant was leaking, and needed to be replaced. Given an estimate of $8k to fix or $14k to replace. Called Komfort for the second opinion - Chris was prompt, professional, and honest. He confirmed that neither my board, motor, nor ac fluids were bad. He went in and found that a simple battery replacement was needed. I went from an eight thousand dollar headache to a $450 solution.
I called Comfort Air Service on Friday and made an appointment for Sunday. They messaged me every day until then made it to my retail store. with in 40 minutes I was back on line. Excellent work.
Damion Fonville was excellent! He thoroughly worked on my system for its annual checkup, found an issue that he will come back later to handle. He explained everything clearly and was committed to a full review. I am very happy with his service.
