I recently visited the Gilded Unicorn to get a tattoo of my dog who recently passed away, and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The shop was stunning, with beautiful decor and a welcoming vibe. Even though I didn’t have an appointment, they were incredibly accommodating and made room for me.
Jorge was the artist who did my tattoo, and he was amazing. He showed me a few sketches and made sure I was happy with the design before starting. As this was my first tattoo, I was really nervous, but Jorge was so kind and patient, which made the process much easier. Loved getting my tattoo at builder unicorn! Welcoming, cool and professional. Sasha/big ole brat is the best - amazing creativity and fantastic artist. This time around they did a 2” color tattoo and it’s perfect. They have done a previous tattoo, a larger 10” ish arm piece which I only had a vague concept of what I wanted and they helped me come up with a tangible piece of art through exploring art books with poses and a color palette book. They were so thoughtful with the whole thing and had such awesome ideas, way better than I could have ever come up with. An absolute great job from these guys! I would highly recommend, I came in on a walk in and they got me tattooed in no time. The work was exactly what I was looking for. Cheers.
