Had an amazing appointment with Ryan. From consultation to the cut and color provided to the checkout. To be part of the experience and see the level of service provide, I would recommend to anyone! Thank you so much- I LOVE my hair!
I attended school here January 2023-February 2024. I’m gonna be honest, it was a rocky year, but hear me out, I graduated one day after my contract date and took both my practical and written exams the following week. I passed both the first time around. Contrary to what you may hear, I can first hand say that Aveda prepared us amazingly to succeed as long as you pay attention and use the resources given. I feel that we were prepared better than other schools, the verbiage used in the exam were what we were taught through pivot point, our state board kits were so well maintained. Although no Cosmetology school is perfect. As far as I’ve experienced and have heard in the industry, there will always be cliques, cattiness & enlarged egos on both the student and professional sides. There is something to say for leadership that sow seeds that go beyond just the State Board exam. I attended both Aveda in 2 different states & I have to say 2 Instructors who stand out the most when it comes to true care is Ms Vonda & Ms Abby. To this day I carry with me some of their words of encouragement and seeds of wisdom especially pertaining to my mental& physical health.
