I absolutely love this staff and veterinary office. My birds have seen all three of the amazing veterinarians at this location and they’re wonderful! We’ve had the most interaction with Dr. Prioleau as he tended to our show bantam hen, Wilma whom has cancer. Seven months have gone by and she has gotten so much better. She is being herself; a tiny hen with a huge Attitude! Dr Scruggs tended to our favorite show Silkie boy who has also recovered and Dr Blackwell treated our Mearns Quail Mavis. All three vets are wonderful! I highly recommend this office!
Dr. Prioleau could not have been a bigger blessing to our Beagle Sydney and we are so grateful to have found him and Ark Vet Hospital. Our Beagle was 16 years old and had stopped eating. Dr. Prioleau discovered she was experiencing kidney failure but recommended treatment that actually extended her quality of life several more months than if she had gone untreated. He even reached out to check in on her to see how she was doing and I was happy to report that she had returned to her old self in many respects. Once she was 17 and her health took a nosedive, he helped us to navigate the process of humane euthanasia and saw us through one of the toughest experiences of our lives. We will always be grateful to Dr. Prioleau for his compassion, patience, gentle spirit, and words of encouragement during that difficult time. He is truly called to do the work that he does and we will continue to recommend him and Ark Vet Hospital to friends and family. Thank you for all you do, Dr. Prioleau!
