UNC Dental Faculty Practice (Craniofacial Center)

I have been going to the UNC dental school for a little over a year. When I first went, I was assigned to a dental student and the match was so bad. I was considering not going back since my experience was so abysmal. But I contacted the school and informed them of how incredibly disappointed I was in the student for so many reasons. They apologized profusely and offered to assign a different student. I was hesitant, but agreed to a new student assignment. I cannot express how completely happy I am with the new assignment. His name is Landon Guy and he is the epitome of what all current and future dentists should strive for. He is knowledgeable, enthusiastic, kind, highly-skilled, creative, not at all condescending. He explains everything he's going to do before he does it. When he makes a suggestion for treatment, he always asks for my input. And he listens to my opinion. And he has a great sense of humor, which is always a bonus! My dental appointment anxiety is just about non-existent due to Landon's expertise. When he graduates, I fully expect to continue as his patient wherever he begins to practice.

Dr. Moretti is THE BEST dentist to deal with complicated gum issues. I have had two implants that had 'issues' and he handled them with the expertise that few dentists have.

Dr. Pimenta is a very good doctor and teacher. He took out the time to make sure he helped me, and without him my life would be miserable. It's always nice to have a doctor or dentist that cares truly about their patients. Not only is Dr. Pimenta the best. Dr Daniels is awesome as well. They all work together to make you smile. That Mrs.Rocio is gonna make sure she can reach me no matter what. I love driving an hour and 15 minutes to get my teeth or mouth worked on, because they make it worth it
