Had been in Chapel Hill for a while. Time for a haircut. I did a Yelp search and saw that Salon 135 got 5 stars, so decided to check it out.

I had the chance to stop by in person and made an appointment last night for a haircut this afternoon. The lady at the front desk was quite friendly, and she assigned me to Jennifer because she is more experienced at cutting straight hair.

It was the Homecoming weekend, I had trouble finding parking, so I was about 15 minutes late when I arrived at the salon this afternoon. I got my hair cut, washed, and styled by Alan and he helped figure out what I wanted for my haircut and how we would style it with my hair type. I walked out with a haircut I loved.Services: Hairstyling

I scheduled an appointment a few days ago and got my haircut the very next day! The receptionist was nice on the phone and in person. This is a very laid-back salon, small but sunny with windows to Franklin St. The prices are AMAZING for what they offer (I gave a tip, but wasn't pushed to do so, and my cut was $42). The clientele isn't just women, I saw a guy in there and I'm sure they do gender-neutral cuts too :) My stylist was Taylor, and I love my cut! She was efficient, but also willing to take some extra time to take a bit more off when I decided I wanted that.
