“God answers prayers.<br><br>During the summer of 2022, our then 16-year-old daughter, Tori, let us know that she was having difficulty breathing while running, especially during hard workouts. Her breathing was labored and shallow. She told us it felt like I was breathing through a straw.<br><br>We started to pray for Tori’s lungs to be opened so she could breathe.<br><br>We sought advice from conventional health-care professionals about immune deficiency disorders, iron deficiency, and exercise-induced asthma. Tori tried an inhaler. It didn’t work. In fact, nothing worked.<br><br>Because Tori couldn’t breathe, she cut back on her training and races were full of anxiety about whether she would be able to breathe.<br><br>On September 17, 2022, Tori reached rock-bottom at a cross country race. This past season, she finished 2nd as a senior at the state cross country meet and received an athletic scholarship to run cross country and track at Hillsdale College.<br><br>To state the obvious, none of Tori’s accomplishments would have happened without God answering our prayer and guiding us to Dr. Gangemi and his holistic health care approach to fixing the problem, not the symptoms.
