My son woke up and an hour later could not walk with severe pain, he went to the ER where they did a stat MRI. The MRI came back clear and they sent him home...still unable to walk, numbness in his lower extremities. We were seen by a Neurosurgeon who said "sorry there is nothing I can do for you, Bye" that is the hardest thing someone can hear.
