I’ve looked at various nail salons around Chapel Hill but none have hit my standards in terms of care and results. My technician was Vinny and he did not disappoint. He took wonderful care and focused on small details others have missed. He did an exceptional job. I received their lavender garden pedicure which was lovely. I get really bad ingrown nails on my right big toe. Other salons just move past it but Vinny made sure to remove the ingrown and asked if it felt better. It was so much better! We moved on to my hands, I have small nail beds so I need a stronger type of extension. I originally came in for gel with tip as most salons I’ve asked don’t carry gel-x.... read full review
I was looking for a place that had good reviews- I actually went on Google and this place had 5 stars. Not sure why it's so low here on Yelp but I highly recommend this salon. We were offered drinks and seated promptly for our special pedicure, we got the fall seasonal pedicure that was on sale and enjoyed it a lot! Nothing I hate more than paying good money for a pedicure and then feeling disappointed that it was too rushed. That's not the case here! This will be my go to nail salon in the area- a complete date would be going to the delicious Thai place next door:)
I can't tell you how happy I am to have found 5th Nail Lounge. Since moving to the Chapel Hill area last year, I tried at least five nail salons. I was so unhappy with all of them. I was so close to be done with getting my nails done - period. Then I found 5th. The salon and tools are so clean. They do such a good job with my nails, but also they are so genuinely KIND. The owner is so sweet, and she constantly checks on you to make sure if you need a beverage, a snack, or to see if you could be more comfortable in anyway. Their client experience is just so on point!!! Go see them!
