After living in four different homes, we finally had the opportunity to build a new home on a lovely Lake Norman lot. We did interview several builders, but almost immediately knew Shawn and Kim Patterson with Cobble Creek Custom Homes where our best choice. While their estimates were not the lowest, it was obvious Shawn had the experience, energy, dedication, and ideas that we needed. We were not disappointed. The craftsmanship in our home is outstanding, and after 10+ years it looks and lives like it did when brand new.

If you get a builder to build you a second house he must be good! Shawn has built 2 houses for us both of excellent quality. He has long term relationships with his subcontractors so gets preferential treatment. His quote might not be the lowest, but you won’t be spending money later fixing mistakes. Also he and his wife, Kim, are explicitly honest. No worries about how the money is spent. And, last but not least, Shawn is a fun guy to work with! Highly recommend!Services: Custom home design

Had a great experience building with Kim & Shawn! Would highly recommend considering them on your next custom home build. Very honest and hard working and the attention to detail is superior. They have great working relationships with all of their sub-contractors and you are dealing directly with the owners (Kim & Shawn) of this company when you sign up. No middle men, foreman, super intendants, etc. Great folks and very loyal and honest. Hard to find in the home building industry these days.
