I haven’t been to a dentist in over 5 years! Yes that’s gross, but life got crazy. The dentist I usually use I called ( they are in Cary also) changed & became extremely expensive. When asking several questions the receptionist became pugnacious with me. I remembered many years ago seeing Dr.Quinlivan, but switched dentists because my family & I moved. Called & spoke with Kim who was polite & courteous answering all my questions. Went in last week for an exam & ex-rays knowing something was wrong with my bottom teeth. Almost 7years ago, Dr.Quinlivan saved my husband's life. Michael went in for a routine check up, and he told the doctor that his partial wasn't fitting the way it should. An x-ray was taken, and it showed lesions in his jaw bones. Within three weeks, my husband was diagnosed, and started treatment for an aggressive form of multiple myeloma. If Dr. Q had not been so thorough, the love of my life would not be here today. We will always be eternally grateful for Dr. Quinlivan!

First let me say, I hate dentists. I have had horrible experiences with dentists in the past. I was going to another Cary dentist in a brand new location with all the bright and shiny equipment and everyone dressed to impress. The hygienist spent the entire visits scolding me for not taking care of my teeth correctly. Mind you I'm much older than any of them and didn't appreciate going to a place I hated, being scolded and then charged outlandish $. When I found Dr. Quinlivan he took the time to reassure me, always made sure I was comfortable and made decisions about my care with me.
